Logit Research was formed in April 2004 by Gary Bennett, an applied Market Researcher with around 15 years experience in the UK MR Industry, including half a decade in an Associate Director role. Gary’s career includes over five years at MORI and more recently RS Consulting. Gary has also worked at Benchmark Research and as a client-side Market Researcher/Analyst at London Transport (now TfL). In the early 1990’s he worked as an Independent Consultant on a team conducting Organisational Reviews. During his career, Gary has directed projects for many blue-chip clients including Hewlett Packard, Xerox, BT, IBM, Iomega, Logitech, Oftel, Ofgas, ICSTIS, Centrica, Nokia, Orange, ntl, Vodafone, Intel, Psion, Compaq, AMP and InfoNXX (The Number), as well as many smaller clients. In 1999/2000, whilst at MORI, Gary was central to the setting up of e-MORI, a virtual division focusing on research around New Media, IT and the Internet. He was one of the first UK researchers to pilot the use of on-line panels and other new forms of data collection for market research. Over recent years, Gary has specialised in Structured Quantitative Research Techniques and applied new implementations of Discrete Choice Modelling in commercial settings. In 2002 he studied at the EPFL in Switzerland, under the tuition of among others, Professor Daniel McFadden, the Nobel Laureate who pioneered the use of Choice Modelling Techniques. Gary is a Full Member of the UK Market Research Society (MRS) and the Independent Consultants Group (ICG).
